Manchester United wore this distinctive third shirt across the 1992/93 and 1993/94 campaigns, during a defining period under Sir Alex Ferguson that included consecutive Premier League titles and the club's first domestic double.

The 1992/93 season saw United win the inaugural Premier League championship, ending a 26-year wait for the English league title. Ferguson's side finished with 84 points, ten ahead of Aston Villa, establishing the foundations for a sustained period of domestic success.

The squad featured influential players including Bryan Robson, Ryan Giggs, Mark Hughes, Peter Schmeichel, Steve Bruce and Gary Pallister. The arrival of Eric Cantona from Leeds United for approximately £1 million in November 1992 proved particularly significant.

Cantona's creativity, technical ability and attacking influence helped transform United's performances during the second half of the campaign, with the French forward becoming a central figure in Ferguson's developing team.

The following season brought further success as United retained the Premier League title, finishing eight points ahead of Blackburn Rovers with 92 points. The arrival of Roy Keane from Nottingham Forest strengthened the midfield, while Cantona continued to provide important goals and creativity.

United also enjoyed an impressive FA Cup campaign, progressing to the final against Chelsea at Wembley. Two penalties from Cantona, followed by goals from Hughes and Brian McClair, secured a 4–0 victory and completed the club's first Premier League and FA Cup double.

Cantona finished the campaign with 25 goals across all competitions and received the PFA Players' Player of the Year award, recognising his influence on United's success.

The two seasons represented a remarkable period of achievement, establishing Manchester United as the dominant force in English football during the early Premier League era.

Produced by Umbro, the 1992–94 Manchester United kids third shirt featured a distinctive green-and-gold half-and-half design inspired by the colours associated with the club's origins as Newton Heath. The shirt incorporated a traditional lace-up collar, the Manchester United crest, Umbro branding and the Sharp sponsor, creating one of the club's most recognisable historical designs.

Worn during the period of United's first two Premier League titles and their 1994 domestic double, the shirt combines a direct connection to the club's early history with the achievements of Ferguson's emerging championship-winning side.

Condition
Condition: 7/10 - Very Good

Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.

Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.

Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.

Our condition guide

10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.

9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.

8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.

7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.

6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.

Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.

Product Care

Vintage sportswear requires a little extra care to help preserve fabric, colour and printed details.

Following the steps below will help protect sponsor logos, badges, namesets and delicate materials.

- Avoid direct heat from radiators and strong sunlight where possible
- Do not tumble dry

Storage

- Store in a cool, dry place
- Keep away from damp environments or direct sunlight
- For long-term storage, fold carefully to avoid stressing prints and badges
- If hanging, use a wide/padded hanger to help maintain shape

Protecting prints, badges and sponsor logos

- Do not iron directly over prints, namesets, patches or sponsor logos
