Liverpool wore this home shirt across the 2006/07 and 2007/08 campaigns under Rafael Benítez, during a period that included another UEFA Champions League final appearance and the arrival of Fernando Torres.
Having won the FA Cup in 2005/06, Liverpool entered the following campaign hoping to challenge for major honours domestically and in Europe. The squad featured established players including Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Xabi Alonso, Dirk Kuyt, Pepe Reina and Peter Crouch.
Liverpool finished third in the Premier League during 2006/07 with 68 points, securing qualification for the following season's Champions League.
In Europe, the Reds enjoyed another memorable campaign, eliminating Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven and Chelsea to reach their second Champions League final in three seasons.
Liverpool faced AC Milan in Athens, renewing the rivalry established during their remarkable 2005 final in Istanbul. However, two goals from Filippo Inzaghi secured a 2–1 victory for Milan, despite Kuyt scoring a late consolation.
The following campaign saw Liverpool strengthen their attacking options with the signing of Torres from Atlético Madrid. The Spanish international enjoyed an outstanding debut season, scoring 24 Premier League goals and 33 across all competitions.
His attacking partnership with Gerrard became an important feature of Liverpool's performances, combining creativity, pace and consistent goalscoring contributions. Liverpool eventually finished fourth in the Premier League during 2007/08 with 76 points, securing another season of Champions League football.
In Europe, the Reds reached the semi-finals after eliminating Inter Milan and Arsenal in the knockout stages. However, their campaign ended following a 4–3 aggregate defeat against Chelsea, who progressed to the final in Moscow.
Although neither season delivered major silverware, Liverpool remained competitive in European football, while Torres established himself among the Premier League's leading strikers.
Produced by adidas, the 2006–08 Liverpool kids home shirt featured the club's traditional red colourway with contrasting white detailing, the adidas three stripes and the Carlsberg sponsor. The design marked adidas' return as Liverpool's kit manufacturer and became closely associated with Gerrard, Alonso and Torres during two memorable European campaigns. Worn during the 2007 Champions League final and Torres' outstanding debut season, the shirt represents a recognisable period in Liverpool's modern history.

Condition
Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.
Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.
Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.
Our condition guide
10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.
9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.
8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.
7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.
Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.
