England reached the final of UEFA Euro 2024 under Gareth Southgate, finishing as runners-up for the second consecutive European Championship following a 2–1 defeat against Spain in Berlin.
Having reached the final of Euro 2020 and the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, England entered the tournament in Germany among the leading contenders for the title.
The squad featured established players including Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Phil Foden, John Stones and goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, alongside emerging talents Cole Palmer and Kobbie Mainoo.
England began their group-stage campaign with a 1–0 victory against Serbia, secured through an early header from Bellingham. Subsequent draws against Denmark and Slovenia ensured the Three Lions finished top of Group C with five points, securing qualification for the knockout stages.
In the Round of 16, England faced Slovakia and required a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser from Bellingham to force extra time. Kane subsequently scored the winning goal, securing a 2–1 victory and progression to the quarter-finals against Switzerland. Following a 1–1 draw after extra time, England prevailed 5–3 on penalties, with all five of their takers converting their spot-kicks.
Southgate's side subsequently faced the Netherlands in the semi-finals, recovering from an early Xavi Simons goal through a Kane penalty. Substitute Ollie Watkins scored a dramatic 90th-minute winner, securing a 2–1 victory and England's second consecutive European Championship final appearance.
In the final against Spain, Nico Williams opened the scoring shortly after half-time before Palmer equalised with a long-range effort. However, Mikel Oyarzabal scored in the 86th minute to secure a 2–1 victory for Spain, ending England's hopes of winning their first European Championship.
Shortly after the tournament, Southgate announced his resignation, concluding an eight-year tenure that included two European Championship finals and a World Cup semi-final.
Produced by Nike, the 2024–26 England home shirt featured the national team's traditional white colourway with navy detailing around the collar and side panels. The design incorporated a subtle textured pattern, the Three Lions crest and Nike branding, alongside red-and-blue detailing on the sleeve cuffs. Worn by Kane, Bellingham and Saka during England's run to the Euro 2024 final, the shirt represents the conclusion of Southgate's successful period in charge of the national team.

Condition
Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.
Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.
Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.
Our condition guide
10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.
9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.
8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.
7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.
Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.
