Club Brugge secured their 15th Belgian league title during the 2017/18 campaign under Ivan Leko, finishing top of the Belgian First Division A in the Croatian manager's first season in charge.
Having finished second the previous season, Club Brugge entered the campaign looking to reclaim the championship from Anderlecht and establish themselves as Belgium's leading team. The squad featured established players including Hans Vanaken, Ruud Vormer, Wesley Moraes, Brandon Mechele, Stefano Denswil and goalkeeper Ethan Horvath, alongside summer arrivals Emmanuel Dennis and Marvelous Nakamba.
Club Brugge began the regular season strongly, establishing a significant advantage at the top of the table through consistent performances and an impressive attacking record. The Blauw-Zwart finished the regular season in first place with 67 points from 30 matches, securing 21 victories and scoring 68 goals.
Under the Belgian league's championship play-off format, Club Brugge subsequently competed against the country's other leading teams to determine the final standings.
Despite experiencing a more difficult period during the play-offs, Leko's side maintained their advantage and secured the championship with a 1–1 draw against Standard Liège in May 2018. Club Brugge eventually finished four points ahead of Standard Liège, securing their second league title in three seasons.
Vormer enjoyed an outstanding individual campaign, contributing important goals and assists from midfield while establishing himself as one of the team's most influential players. The Dutch midfielder was subsequently awarded the Belgian Golden Shoe for his performances during 2017.
Vanaken also played a central role in the team's attacking performances, while Wesley and Dennis provided additional goalscoring options.
In European competition, Club Brugge entered the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds but were eliminated by İstanbul Başakşehir following a 5–3 aggregate defeat.
The club subsequently entered the UEFA Europa League play-off round, where AEK Athens secured a 3–0 aggregate victory. Although their European campaign ended early, Club Brugge's domestic success represented an impressive achievement during Leko's debut season.
Produced by Macron, the 2017/18 Club Brugge home shirt featured the club's traditional blue-and-black vertical stripes, complemented by contrasting detailing around the collar and sleeves. The design incorporated the Club Brugge crest and Macron branding, maintaining the club's recognisable home identity. Worn by Vormer, Vanaken and Wesley during their Belgian championship-winning campaign, the shirt represents an important season in Club Brugge's modern history.

Condition
Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.
Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.
Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.
Our condition guide
10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.
9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.
8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.
7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.
Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.
